1Password now lets AI agents log in without seeing your password.
Password manager 1Password launched a service on Thursday that signs AI agents into your accounts for you. You approve each login on your own device, and 1Password fills the form without handing over the password. It already works with agents from Anthropic, OpenAI and Meta, and more partners are coming.
Why it mattersIf you let an assistant pay bills or book trips, it no longer needs a copy of your password. A copy it never holds is a copy it can never leak.
