A Cambridge AI fellowship pays £10,000 and asks for no degree.

The Cambridge ERA:AI Fellowship is open to anyone over 18, with no diploma or publications required. It pays ten thousand pounds for ten weeks of research on AI safety and governance in Cambridge. Visas, travel and weekday meals are covered, and every fellow works with a mentor. The first stage is a short essay form, and applications close on 13 September.

Why it mattersPaid routes into AI safety work usually ask for a doctorate first. This one takes people by what they can write, not by what they already have.
