Meta's giant new open model runs on two desktop Macs.
Meta released the weights of Muse Spark Open on Thursday and calls it the most capable American open model. It has 816 billion parameters, yet two of Apple's top Mac Studio computers can run it together. Apple helped tune it, and the licence lets many developers use it free with some commercial limits.
