Mistral gave away its trillion-parameter model, with one catch.
Mistral released the files of Mistral Large 4 on Thursday, so anyone can download it and run it. The company says it ties the best open model at coding while using 47% less text to get there. Commercial use is free, but firms that sell it as a hosted service need a separate license.
