Anthropic published a tool on Wednesday that models the US economy of 2030 under three AI scenarios. Only the most extreme one matches chief executive Dario Amodei's warning, with knowledge-worker unemployment at 17.9%. The middle case puts growth 8.3% above the baseline and unemployment near 5%.
