Cursor's new lead agent writes no code and only directs others.
Cursor released Projects on 10 September, a beta where one agent directs the work. The coordinator writes no code, but plans the job, hands it to other agents and checks the result. Cursor says it runs thousands of agents in the cloud, so a closed laptop does not stop it.
