US agencies named six Chinese AI labs for copying American models.
The NSA, FBI and America's cyber defence agency issued a joint warning on Tuesday. They say six Chinese firms query US models millions of times and train on the answers. Moonshot allegedly copied 18 US models this way, including Anthropic's Fable 5.
Why it mattersThe cheap Chinese models you use may be built on answers from expensive Western ones. If providers start throttling suspicious accounts, ordinary heavy users could get caught too.
