Anthropic's boss says AI swarms could own the internet within a year.
Anthropic chief Dario Amodei published an essay on Saturday asking the industry to slow how fast models gain abilities. He warned that within 6 to 12 months an agent swarm could hold the whole internet in a botnet. Sam Altman and Elon Musk agreed the same day, and Anthropic will now let outside evaluators inside.
