A Roblox crawler took 145 GB of artists' models, adult files included.

Open3DLab, a free 3D model site, says a crawler tagged with a Roblox email hit it on 15-16 October. It ignored the site's no-scraping rules and downloaded 1,027 files, and 345 of 712 projects were adult content. Roblox says a researcher's agent scraped by mistake and the data was never used, including for AI training.

Why it mattersFree creative sites are now a target for companies building 3D AI models. If you share your work online, a non-commercial license alone may not keep it out.
