Oracle's unfilled AI orders grew by $209 billion in a year.
Oracle said on Thursday that customers have booked $664 billion of work it has not yet delivered. It signed more than $30 billion of new AI cloud contracts in three months alone. It delivered more than 300,000 graphics chips last quarter, almost triple the quarter before.
Why it mattersThese orders are the clearest public measure of how much computing the AI boom has already promised. Oracle must now find the power and buildings to deliver it, or the number stays paper.
