TypeSafe left stealth on 15 September with $40 million led by the investor DCVC. Its first model, Jev, returns a fixed-shape answer and a confidence score in under 100 milliseconds. An open-source copy called Laya appeared on Friday and drew 710 GitHub stars in a day.
