Y Combinator's boss says American labs should copy models too.
Y Combinator chief Garry Tan told reporters on Friday that regulators should do nothing about copycat AI training. He wants small American labs to train on big models' answers, the shortcut Chinese firms are accused of using. Anthropic reported those copying campaigns this week and asked Washington to stop them.
