India will pay new AI PhD students up to ₹80,000 a month.
The IndiaAI Mission is taking fellowship applications from full-time Indian students working on AI projects in any subject. A first-year PhD student gets ₹70,000 to ₹80,000 a month, and a final-year undergraduate up to ₹100,000. Apply on the IndiaAI fellowship portal with your marksheets and a letter signed by your guide or department head. The deadline is 30 November, and applications sent by email are not accepted.
Why it mattersUndergraduates in law, medicine, commerce and the arts can apply too, if they took three AI courses. Apply early, because applications are reviewed in the order they arrive.
