Singapore will fund four years of AI research for new PhD holders.

Nanyang Technological University and Singapore's research foundation are hiring postdocs who use AI in science or medicine. Anyone whose doctorate was awarded in 2023 or later can apply with an NTU mentor. Fellows get up to four years, a salary above 100,000 Singapore dollars and a 250,000 dollar grant. Applications close on 30 October and the work must start by 31 March 2027.

Why it mattersEarly career researchers rarely control a budget, and this one arrives with the grant attached. It is open worldwide, so a recent doctorate anywhere can move a research plan to Singapore.
